Humorous photo manips from HBO's amazing "Game of Thrones" series, the occasional screensaver and maybe even some artwork, just for your viewing enjoyment.
So I do this thing when I’m anxious
I start swallowing like crazy. Only, like, I swallow really hard, ‘cause my throat is all constricted and I have to force it down. And it hurts, a lot—the constriction and the swallowing. Sometimes I feel like I’m choking on my own saliva. I have actually choked on my own saliva, as gross as that sounds. When I swallow, my throat at times is so constricted that it makes a noise. It’s painful and embarrassing as hell if I’m around other people. Not to mention that I actually lose sleep because of it.
Anybody else experience anything like this? if so, do you know anything that helps? Mediation, breathing exercises, anything? Because I don’t know how to make it stop, and I can’t keep going like this.
